3 Rivers Parade March
July 11th, 2015
We walked in the parade to show and demonstrate our church’s connection, support, and commitment to and with our community. We want to showcase our youth to demonstrate to those in our city who may not have a balanced view of our youth that there are some who are good kids, who attend and participate in their local church, who are intelligent, talented, who care and love God, and that our church is relevant and a resource to our community. We are walking as a way to reach out to our city, to let them know that Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church is here. We want to demonstrate unity, family, and teamwork! (1 Corinthians 1:10) “I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.” (Romans 15:5) “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.”
